YOUR GALACTIC MERMAID
Lawrence, Kansas may not be known for its galactic mermaids, but surging upstream across the midwest to the Twin Cities is NatanYael. After making waves across major music platforms with her 2018 EP 30, she continued producing and solidifying her sound until it led her to the creation of her upcoming debut album, Wisemind.
Pulsating, empowering and addicting, the infectious music of NatanYael is a strobe light in the darkness. A walking, singing, dancing cathedral of charisma, NatanYael’s music is strong enough to be vulnerable as it commands attention over a strong foundation of her own experiences, unafraid of exploring the numerous facets of mental health and the complexities of our social interactions.
With an overly saturated music industry, NatanYael breaks the mold to introduce a truly unique album centered around concepts from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). The main concept of DBT is finding the balance, or Wisemind, between the two extremes: Logic mind, and Emotion mind.
NatanYael hopes to help reduce stigmas surrounding mental health and open up an honest dialogue with her presence in the industry.
